Jakarta, October 30, 2025 — DataGarda proudly took part in the Indonesia International Data Center Conference (IIDCC) 2025, held at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. The annual event brought together key players across the data center, telecommunications, cloud, and digital infrastructure sectors, reinforcing Indonesia’s growing position as a strategic hub for digital connectivity in Southeast Asia.

As a company deeply committed to strengthening Indonesia’s data center ecosystem, DataGarda showcased its ongoing contributions toward building a resilient, secure, and sustainable digital infrastructure. The booth served as an interactive platform for industry discussions, highlighting the company’s end-to-end capabilities in data center operations, design and construction, certifications and standardization, digital services, and learning & development.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, DataGarda welcomed representatives from government agencies, private enterprises, technology vendors, and academic institutions, reflecting the collaborative spirit that drives Indonesia’s digital transformation.

Strategic Insights from Leadership: Building a Resilient Digital Ecosystem

A key highlight of the event was the Panel Session on Day 3, titled “Building Indonesia’s Digital Ecosystem – ISPs, Data Centers, Cybersecurity & International Connectivity.”
The session featured Hendra Suryakusuma, Chief Executive Officer of DataGarda and Chairman of the Indonesia Data Center Provider Organization (IDPRO), alongside other prominent industry leaders and policymakers.

In his address, Pak Hendra underscored the critical role of data centers as the backbone of Indonesia’s digital economy, emphasizing that collaboration between Internet Service Providers, hyperscale and colocation operators, cybersecurity firms, and regulatory bodies is essential to sustain growth.

“Indonesia’s digital transformation cannot stand alone on technology investment — it must be built on synergy, trust, and shared innovation,” he noted. “Through collaboration, we can enhance interconnectivity, improve energy efficiency, and ensure cybersecurity readiness as we move toward becoming a leading digital nation in the region.”

He also highlighted the importance of regional interconnectivity and international gateways, stressing that Indonesia’s geographic position provides a unique advantage in bridging global data flows between the Asia-Pacific region.

FGD with the Ministry of Industry: Strengthening Local Support for Data Center Energy Infrastructure

Earlier in the event, on Day 2, DataGarda took part in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) hosted by the Ministry of Industry (Kementerian Perindustrian) under the theme “Dukungan Industri Alat Kelistrikan Dalam Negeri untuk Penyediaan Energi pada Data Center.”

This forum gathered key stakeholders from government, industry associations, and private companies to discuss the role of domestic electrical manufacturing and innovation in supporting the growing energy demands of data centers.

DataGarda shared its field experience in energy-efficient system integration, showcasing best practices in the use of EC Fans, modular power systems, and smart monitoring technologies that contribute to reducing operational costs and improving sustainability.

The company’s active involvement in the FGD reaffirmed its position as an implementation partner bridging national policy and technical execution, supporting Indonesia’s ambition to reduce import dependency and empower local industries in the data center supply chain.

Pioneering Collaboration Across Sectors

IIDCC 2025 served as a vital platform for DataGarda to strengthen relationships with key industry partners, including technology vendors, equipment suppliers, and energy-efficiency experts. The event also provided an opportunity to discuss future collaborations with members of IDPRO, of which Pak Hendra serves as Chairman, reinforcing the shared goal of standardization, best practices, and human-capital development in the data center field.

Beyond networking and product showcases, DataGarda emphasized the importance of talent development and capacity building. Through its Learning & Development (L&D) pillar, the company continues to collaborate with academic institutions and professional organizations to prepare the next generation of data center professionals — ensuring that Indonesia’s digital infrastructure is supported by skilled local talent.

Shaping the Future of Indonesia’s Data Center Industry

DataGarda’s participation at IIDCC 2025 reflects its broader vision to contribute to Indonesia’s long-term digital roadmap. By aligning with the government’s initiatives on energy efficiency, local industrial empowerment, and cybersecurity resilience, the company remains at the forefront of shaping a sustainable digital future.

“Events like IIDCC remind us that the data center industry is not just about technology — it’s about creating an ecosystem where innovation, collaboration, and local capabilities thrive together,” Pak Hendra concluded.

With a commitment to excellence in service and growth in knowledge, DataGarda continues to play a leading role in accelerating Indonesia’s data center transformation — from policy discussions and education to technical implementation and operational excellence.
